Ryan Qi
Founder & President
Ryan is a high school junior who has played piano for over ten years and performs percussion in his school’s concert and marching bands. His love for music and his experience growing up with a brother who has developmental challenges inspired him to start Bright Beats - a way to share the joy and connection that music brought to his own family.
Hasene DeviNirmalraj
Vice President - Communications & Outreach
Hasene is a high school sophomore who previously played piano and violin and is now an active member of her school’s choir and several afterschool choir clubs. Outside of music, she practices classical Indian dance and enjoys working with kids through community programs. She’s excited to be part of Bright Beats and help share the joy of music with others.
Zachary Qin
Vice President - Programs & Volunteer
Zachary is a high school sophomore and has been playing piano for ten years. He believes that music is a universal language that connects everyone. Through Bright Beats, he hopes to share this connection and joy with others. He also enjoys photography and listening to music.

Angelina Wang
President
Angelina is a high school senior and a passionate musician who plays both piano and violin for over eight years. She loves sharing her music with younger children and has seen how it can spark joy and confidence in their lives. Her experiences, combined with her love for music and service, inspired her to carry forward the mission of Bright Beats.
Sophia Zhao
Vice President
Sophia is a high school sophomore and young musician who plays piano and violin. She enjoys using music to connect with children and help them express themselves with confidence and joy. Her passion for creativity and community service inspires her to bring the Bright Beats mission to life in every session.

Albert Prince
President
Albert is a high school freshman with a music scholarship, playing both piano and violin for over 9 years and singing for choirs. With months of teaching piano and violin experience, he understands the learning process of children and their passion for music and instruments. This has led him to reach out to Bright Beats, hoping to connect with those in need and share the joy of music.
Uganda Chapter
Mbalule Julian
President
Mr. Julian is the Founder of The African Child in Uganda. Coming from a humble background, he was inspired to dedicate his life to supporting children with disabilities after meeting a young boy with cerebral palsy. Mr. Julian now leads community programs and therapy sessions in Jinja, partnering with Bright Beats to bring inclusive music to children with special needs.
